Sunday 16 February: Tunman Wood (Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust)
This wood is thought to have existed since 1774. Despite being extensively managed in the past, it still retains characteristics of ancient woodland. Plant life thrives along the ride edges and we will be involved in the management of these areas, with some coppicing of young trees and generally keeping the rides clear.
Meet at the Warden's Office at Whisby Nature Park (This may change; watch for leader's email nearer the time.)
